Crab cakes... Too salty... Chicken Byan, decent and the goat cheese wasn't overwhelming... Alfredo was pretty uninspired. It wasn't bad and it wasn't great. If I was between this or Olive Garden, I would probably pick this...

This is the best Italian cuisine chain restaurant is the area. Service has always been great and the place is clean. The food prepared from almost entirely fresh ingredients, which in my opinion makes a huge difference. I cam recommend the Marsala sauce on anything (chicken, steak, etc.). I have had many other dishes as well and have yet to find something i did not care for. My wife says the mussels are fantastic but I will have to take her word for that one. I don't like mussels. They may be the world's best and I could not comment there. You won't go wrong eating at Carrabbas.

Dinner with friends, we got in early on Saturday, so no wait. We had great service. We all had a salad, I had the house and was very pleased. They brought out warm bread, ahhh, warm bread. I ordered a special, champagne chicken, which is baked chicken with crab. It was an outstanding dish, I was impressed. We skipped the dessert. I'll certainly go back.

I have been here about 4 times now & the first 3 times I would have given it 5 stars, however the service was so bad the last time I went that I had to take it down a notch. Even though I know we just had a horrible server, it still make me not like the place as much & not look forward to going back anytime soon. I can say that their Chicken Bryan is one of the best meals that I've ever tasted. I am going to try to master cooking this some day lol. I love it that much! I could eat it all the time. Their food is all cooked on a wood burning grill, which creates this smoked wonderful taste. You wouldn't think it would make that much of a difference, but it does. The chicken is topped with a lemon butter sauce, sun dried tomatoes, & goat cheese! They have another chicken dish that is the same exact thing minus the sun dried tomatoes & goat cheese. Both meals are really good... but the goat cheese is one of the best things about the Chicken Bryan so I would recommend just sticking with that! I never knew how much I liked goat cheese until coming here. Another thing that's great about this place is that they give you free bread with herbs & olive oil to dip it in. It's so good! They'll even tell you what herbs are in it, so that if you want to attempt making it at home you can. Also, they always seem packed but there's never a wait to be seated. All in all I'd still recommend this place, I just hope you don't get our last server!

Good food for a birthday celebration...but the server forgot about my 18 month old's dinner, so by the time she brought it, my son was full on bites of everyone else's dinner. But, the server was nice enough to take the pizza off the bill without us even complaining about it. Talk about being proactive. Way to go, server girl!

Went there for the first time last night. Service was extremely slow, while the server was friendly, she was slow on getting my glass of wine at least 5 minutes, and it went down hill from there. The food was average, while the risotto balls were good, the olive oil for the bread was off, the pasta was very dry and tasteless. Lastly I paid a $41.66, paid with 3 $20's, my change was $42.00, somehow the math is wrong.

People may bash this place because of the chain, but it's one of my wife and I's favorite restaurants. We consistently get a meal that we are very happy with. We absolutely love the Spiedino di Mare with the wood-fired scallops and shrimp. The lightly breaded and lemon butter sauce is so good! If you get it, get angel hair pasta on the side with the lemon butter on the pasta as well. Perfect combo. Then with it, we usually get the Sirloin Marsala. The mushroom marsala sauce is outstanding. We always pair these two dishes together and are happy. We've tried a few others (chicken bryan) is good, but these are our go to's. We usually have outstanding service, and we have one server who we've seen for years. However, on our last visit (our anniversary), we had a new server. He was polite and nice, but he botched our order pretty bad. We had the wrong side. Only one wine glass for a while. And, we ordered the sirloin marsala with a crab cake, which didn't come out until we had finished the meal. Fortunately, the manager asked how our meal was. We politely let him know that it was a little out of order - not their best effort. He promptly corrected the bill and also gave us a dessert to go. We don't normally complain, but on our anniversary, we expect a bit more. It was nice that the manager took care of business right away. But, that was a rarity. We love this place, and we know we're going to get a good, consistent meal that we both love!

Service was horrible on a Sunday night food was just sub par for the prices!! And the drinks were watered down. I understand with a a different server the experience would be different. But that doesn't change the rest of the evening.

The service is good most of the time. The food is also good, most of the time. There's room for improvement, but it's not a bad experience. I'm a pasta junkie, so name it from the menu and I've tried it. Meat is always cooked correctly, so that's good. Never had dessert here, so I apologize for not being able to report that. The lighting bothers me, because it's dim, but that's a personal opinion.

I haven't been to a place with great service in a long time. We didn't wait long. We went to the bar to get drinks. Bartenders were quick and friendly. *even had a server ask us if we had service yet while we were waiting at the bar* (never happens), AMAZING. I was a server for YEARS and I know how it should be. They were professional and attentive. The manager came by a few times and even got my friend a new drink that was spilt. Our server was clean, available, friendly, attentive, and professional (long hair pulled back. Doug maybe) Our drinks never got low and everything was on time and DELICIOUS. Two thumbs up from us. I WILL be back! My first time but my friends say they've never had bad service. We loved it. Thank you for your excellent chain restaurant service!!!

So let me start by saying I love Italian food. This place is seriously over priced for food that is not good. My husband ordered chicken parmesan one of his favorite foods. When it came it had no spaghetti noodles. He has never not gotten the noodles so he asked the waitress who said "of course it doesn't come with noodles" lol. I got the alfredo which was pretty much tasteless. Needless to say after a $40 bill we will not be returning.

Was out with some girlfriends for a much needed girls night out. The girls all said they thought Carrabas was pretty good so we went to the one in Crestview Hills. Firstly, our service was HORRENDOUS! Some of us got drinks right away, others had food before drinks, some had no flatware when we got our food. None of us got our food at the same time. I got crab cakes and they were too salty to eat. Several of the orders were entirely wrong and it was long periods between when our server would wait on us and fix what was wrong or bring things she forgot. I even sent the company a feedback form on their website but they didn't respond to it BUT they do send me promotional emails several times a week. Money is tight. Eating out is a treat. Company's need to realize that so they make sure consumers get at the very least, what we pay for, but service should at least be satisfactorily. Had to get pizza afterwards because some of our dishes weren't edible! I give Carrabas a big fat F! I also give their customer service a big fat F for not responding to my feedback!

Yummy, yummy! I've never left this Carrabbas unsatisfied. Service is usually fast and friendly. Their food is always delicious and definitely leave a little room for dessert! Be sure to call ahead for seating on a Friday or Saturday.

It had been awhile since our last visit and it will be awhile before returning, if at all. Service was slow, unorganized and very impersonal. The iced tea arrived as sweet tea and was returned for iced tea as ordered. Beverages arrived with salads, bread with entrees. The final "insult" was being charged for 2 teas when 1 had been ordered but guess we paid for the waiter's error. No one came by to see if things were OK as they had done numerous times on past visits. I went online to express our less than pleasant experience and have yet to receive a reply, apology or some compensation offered for that second iced tea charge......there's $7 left on a gift card if anyone wants it.

My boss and I flew through the Cincinnati airport for a work conference in Erlanger, and decided to grab some dinner at Carrabba's. There was a short wait for inside seating, but we decided to go with outside dining because there was no wait and it was a nice evening. We were immediately greeted by our waitress who was friendly and prompt. She recommended a few different dishes. We ordered the goat cheese & pomodoro bruschetta appetizer, which was GREAT. It was creamy and fresh and I would highly recommend it. In addition, both my boss and I ordered an alcoholic beverage. I ordered the blackberry sangria, which was fantastic. It was light and refreshing and the perfect drink after a day of travel. For dinner, I ordered the Cavatappi Formaggi with chicken and I would highly recommend it for anybody who is hesitant and unaware of what certain Italian dishes are. It was just spiral pasta with an alfredo cream sauce and four different cheeses, paired with grilled chicken. It was very filling but delicious. Again -- HIGHLY recommend this location and thank you for the great service!

PRICING HAS INCREASED, QUALITY HAS DECREASED!! I was craving Carrabbas tonight but unfortunately I will never crave it again. I was very disappointed. Ty, the owner, is scary and down right mean and the server Chelsey has an attitude problem. The food quality was a step above a cafeteria. I cannot believe that this place has gone so down hill. Save yourself the money and disappointment and eat somewhere else!!!!! Ty threw me out of the restaurant AFTER taking my money and refusing to return it and threatened to call the cops just because I asked for the corporate headquarter number. My son was in complete and utter SHOCK!!! I plan to report this immediately!!!!

I had never had any reason to come here because I never knew what they actually served! When my dad suggested a chain Italian place, I was skeptical at first. But wow, this place is great! The calamari has a really different, awesome flavor to it, as well as delicious dipping sauces. The chicken bryan is just as good as everyone says it is, and my dad loved his chicken cutlets. Fantastic service, very prompt with a lovely server. The place isn't very pricey, but the restaurant manages to create a higher class environment that made a night out with my dad very nice. You certainly get your money's worth, since most plates come with a decent sized, very yummy salad and a generous amount of sides.

Overall the food is good. Servers are responsive. Good comes pretty quickly. Can be a wait to get a table but they do offer to add you to the wait list online. I love the shrimp and scallops spiedino. The zucchini appetizer is pretty tasty with the garlic aioli.

I had an absolutely amazing time here tonight the food was delicious, and our server Chelsey made it that much better, she was a sweet angel, she took great care of me! She deserves a raise because she works so hard! Not only that but she's beautiful so I'll definitely be asking for her next time!

Okay here's the scoop on Carrabba's Italian Grill the Crestview Hills location. When we got there it was Saturday at 6:30 in the evening. We knew that it would be a long wait but we ended up waiting a full hour before we were seated. The thing that upset us the most though was that people would come in and they would have a large party (six people) and the manager would seat them right away especially if they made a lot of noise about it. So after we were seated the service was good & the waiter was very knowledgeable. For the price though that we paid the food in my opinion was substandard although flavorful the portions were extremely small compared to some other local Italian eateries. The chicken parmesan I ordered could have fit inside of a hamburger bun and there were no noodles with the chicken parmesan or marinara sauce. I've never had chicken parmesan that didn't have marinara sauce sitting on a bed of noodles. Overall I would rate this restaurant as just ok I felt the it was over priced and the portions were too small considering the price. when I order a dish that is valued at $20 I expect a good portion, oh well.

I've promised that I'd review more Florence venues, now that I'm spending considerable time there. I just haven't. So sue me. I know Carrabba's is not what anyone would consider unique to this area, it's simply that I want to give a shout-out to an Amici Club event I attended. Now, I lucked into this as a co-worker happened to be the sibling of the manager of this local spot and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to enjoy some Italian cuisine on a dime. And a lot of cuisine it was. A full 4-course meal, with red and white wines included, for a mere pittance. And all the food was delicious, if fairly standard for upper mid-scale Italian. If you're a regular and a bit of a foodie, I recommend joining the club. That's amore! Or maybe amici. Whatever.

Best Italian food ever! My husband and I love this place, we go to have dinner there at least twice a month. Food is amazing! Anything you order will be perfect and delicious. I would recommend the chicken Bryan (my favorite), mashed potatoes, and the house salad, also the peach sangria. The service is fantastic. There was just this one time I ordered my sirloin well done, when it came to the table it wasn't so I had it sent back, when it came back the server immediately noticed that it wasn't well done and without me saying a word she took it back to the kitchen again. When I thought my meal was ruined the manager went to our table and offered to take care of the check (so nice), he also gave us an extra order of my meal to take home. That kind of service just made us love the place even more. Great restaurant, we'll definitely keep coming.

Went on my Birthday and it was a 5 star night. 3 different staff treated us like Kings and Queens. The Chicken Bryan was perfect as always. Their dipping sauce has great spices - my favorite for dipping so far. Their Chicken soup is the best soup I've had in a while (I'm not a big soup eater-but I crave this one). Forgot the name of the dessert - it looked like ice cream cake but was light and decadent...mmm

We generally love Carabbas, but as I sit here this evening I have to say our waitress couldn't be ruder and the drinks are completely watered down. I hope this is just one bad experience and not the future of this establishment.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
